     Data T1 Lines

An Internet T1 Connection gives you the advantage of being the only user on that particular line. Internet T1's are not shared between users, avoiding slow downs during periods of peak usage.

Integrated Voice and Data T1 Lines

Using an arrangement of dedicated static channels an Integrated T1 Line allows a business to enjoy both data transmission and voice telephone on a single line.

     Dynamic T1 Options

With a Dynamic Internet T1 Line channels not being used for telephone calls are automatically allocated for data transmission. At anytime there are no phone calls all of the bandwidth will be used for data.

     Fractional T1 Internet

The savings realized from using Fractional T1 Service come from reduced bandwith and channels, normally 1/4, 1/2, or 3/4 of a Full T1 Line. While the bandwidth cost is reduced, the loop charge (the cost of the physical line between the POP and the customer) is constant.

Business DSL - A Bad Trip
by T. A. Johnson Sr. - Customer Relations Manager
March 9, 2005

Have you ever noticed that DSL backwards is LSD? If you are using this type of connection to generate income for your Bammel, Texas business, you may be in for a BAD TRIP ! As the person in our organization that is responsible for our customers satisfaction, traditional internet service certainly has been a bad trip for me. When our sales staff helps one of our customers obtain this inferior level of service, sooner or later, I get the call to fix-it. I can't blame the sales person for the trouble. The client wanted a CHEAP FIX. Ok, enough tounge in cheek, let me inject some sharper points here.

T1 Service Level Agreements ( SLAs ) are a lifeline for Bammel businesses that depend on data and/or voice connections for income. Simply put, they are service quality guarantees. The T1 service provider guarantees, in writing, that if you lose your Bammel, Texas T1 connection, they lose part of their income. They don't want to lose their income any more than you do, so they make sure you do not lose your connection. Businesses that hold Dedicated Circuit SLAs usually measure outages in minutes, as opposed to cheaper connections that average 32 to 48 HOURS - 2 DAYS! As a "best effort" service, the DSL provider isn't normally under any obligation to restore service quickly, or to renumerate you for any of your business loses - no incentive, no hurry, your loss. Even if your internet provider is offering a Service Level Agreement, those argeements are always inferior to T1 Service Level Agreements. You get what you pay for. Considering that only a relatively small percentage of homes and business are currently using these inferior services, and the number of subscribers is expected to grow exponentially, quality and up-time will probably continue to deteriorate.

Where are your customers going during these outages? Probably to a competitor that has not suffered the downtime. What is the dollar amount, long-term, of your loses? Possibly more than a T1 line would cost. Is it important and profitable for you to maintain your lifeline while your comptetitors are suffering outages? YOU BET ! You can be aquiring new customers while they are down; taking your competitions business, instead of the competition taking your business.

To appreciate the value of a T1 Service Level Agreement, look at the 2004 hurricane season in Florida. Phone and DSL connections went down in many areas for weeks. No service. No business. T1 Internet Line Service was generally restored in about 2 hours. Don't wait for a hurricane, or flood, or earthquake, or tornado, or fire, or mudslides, or the guy who digs up your telephone line, or whatever..... Take care of your business, insure your business lifeline, and protect your income with a vastly superior T1 Service Level Agreement.

T1 & DS3 Prices Continue To Drop in Bammel, Texas

Featured Article by: T. A. Johnson, Sr. - Customer Relations Manager - December 4, 2008

There has never been a better time for you to switch your Bammel, Texas business communications package from DSL and POTS ( Plain Old Telephone Service ) to a T1 or T3 connection. As it has been for the past serveral years, bandwidth pricing has continued to drop, and now we are seeing T-1 Internet Service Line prices coming in at under $300 for a full T1 line. That represents about a 25% price reduction in the past year. In addition to the lower bandwidth prices, some service providers are currently offering free routers with free managed service when you commit to a multi-year contract! If your current dedicated service contract expires soon or if you are considering an upgrade from DSL to a T1 line, now is a great time to speak to one of our product specialists to help you evaulate your needs and research service options.

 *For Example:

  • Data T1 1.5 Mbps $298.00
  • Data DS3 45 Mbps $3223.00
  • Voice T1 Interstate Rates 1.2¢/min
     *Prices are subject to availability

As more and more Bammel, Texas businesses rely heavily on broadband access to conduct business via e-mail, video conference, and VoIP, outages could take down all aspects of the enterprise. At the current rates, the flexibility of an Integrated T1 line should be considered. An integrated T1 conncetion allows a business to run multiple communications components, such as local telephone, long-distance telephone, Internet, and Voice over IP (VoIP) over one single line, simultaneously. Additionally, integrated services offer other important benefits. Costs are normally less than they would be if the services were purchased individually, billing is on one invoice, and time is saved by dealing with just one vendor.
