Business DSL - A Bad Trip
by T. A. Johnson Sr. - Customer Relations Manager
March 9, 2005

Have you ever noticed that DSL backwards is LSD? If you are using this type of connection to generate income for your Barnesville, Georgia business, you may be in for a BAD TRIP ! As the person in our organization that is responsible for our customers satisfaction, traditional internet service certainly has been a bad trip for me. When our sales staff helps one of our customers obtain this inferior level of service, sooner or later, I get the call to fix-it. I can't blame the sales person for the trouble. The client wanted a CHEAP FIX. Ok, enough tounge in cheek, let me inject some sharper points here.

T1 Service Level Agreements ( SLAs ) are a lifeline for Barnesville businesses that depend on data and/or voice connections for income. Simply put, they are service quality guarantees. The T1 service provider guarantees, in writing, that if you lose your Barnesville, Georgia T1 connection, they lose part of their income. They don't want to lose their income any more than you do, so they make sure you do not lose your connection. Businesses that hold Dedicated Circuit SLAs usually measure outages in minutes, as opposed to cheaper connections that average 32 to 48 HOURS - 2 DAYS! As a "best effort" service, the DSL provider isn't normally under any obligation to restore service quickly, or to renumerate you for any of your business loses - no incentive, no hurry, your loss. Even if your internet provider is offering a Service Level Agreement, those argeements are always inferior to T1 Service Level Agreements. You get what you pay for. Considering that only a relatively small percentage of homes and business are currently using these inferior services, and the number of subscribers is expected to grow exponentially, quality and up-time will probably continue to deteriorate.

Where are your customers going during these outages? Probably to a competitor that has not suffered the downtime. What is the dollar amount, long-term, of your loses? Possibly more than a T1 line would cost. Is it important and profitable for you to maintain your lifeline while your comptetitors are suffering outages? YOU BET ! You can be aquiring new customers while they are down; taking your competitions business, instead of the competition taking your business.

To appreciate the value of a T1 Service Level Agreement, look at the 2004 hurricane season in Florida. Phone and DSL connections went down in many areas for weeks. No service. No business. T1 Internet Line Service was generally restored in about 2 hours. Don't wait for a hurricane, or flood, or earthquake, or tornado, or fire, or mudslides, or the guy who digs up your telephone line, or whatever..... Take care of your business, insure your business lifeline, and protect your income with a vastly superior T1 Service Level Agreement.

Online T1 Internet Pricing for Barnesville, Georgia Business Locations

Featured Article by: T. A. Johnson, Sr. - Customer Relations Manager - January 9, 2009

Trying to find Barnesville Georgia dedicated business telecommunication services like a T1 line has never been much fun for most people. If you have been looking for a voice line you may have called the local Barnesville phone company. Chances are you were passed around to several different departments that could not handle your request for a T1 line. When you finally got to speak with someone who could answer your questions you got a host of questions that didn't get to the point of your call which was, "How much do I have to pay".

Or perhaps, you have tried the services of a broker or agent. Independent agents can reduce the number of contacts you have make by asking you the questions once, determining your needs, then researching multiple providers to find the T1 service that is the best fit for your needs. Brokers and Agents help you avoid the natural company bias you receive when speaking with one vendor selling their own products, as the agent is paid regardless of the provider you decide to go with. Still, there is usually a couple of days before the agent/broker can get back to you with pricing.

We offer a solution to the problems of dealing with the bias of the providers, yet not having to wait to get accurate pricing. We have no bias for one particular carrier AND you get immediate feedback! You get a real-time quote that gives you accurate pricing information. NO WAIT, NO HYPE. Just enter your Barnesville information and you can compare pricing from mutiple providers in a few seconds. If you need more help or information one of our product specialists will be glad to get in touch and help you through the process.
