 Data T1 Lines
If lost or slow data transmission is costing your business, you need to invest in a consistant and dependable T1 Line.
 Internet T1 Service
An Internet T1 Connection gives you the advantage of being the only user on that particular line. Internet T1's are not shared between users, avoiding slow downs during periods of peak usage.
Integrated Voice and Data T1 Lines
An Integrated T1 Line is a combination telephone and network connection that allows a business to enjoy both data and phone services over a single line. A fixed number of channels are allocated to either voice or data.
 Dynamic T1 Options
Dynamic T1 lines allow for efficient use of bandwidth by dedicating all of the channels not in use for phone calls to be used for data transmission. This is done on-the-fly. If no channels are being used for telephone conversations, all channels are available for data.
 Fractional T1 Internet
Although the cost of a Fractional T1 Internet Line is less than a Full T1, the cost savings are not proportional. This is because the loop charges are based on the distance between the CO or POP and the customer, and would be the same regardless of the bandwidth. Only the bandwidth charges are reduced proportionally.
 Multiple T1 Lines
 Bonded T1 Lines
 Burstable T1 Services
 VoIP for Business
 VPN - Virtual Private Networks
 SIP Trunking
 MPLS
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a standards-approved technology for speeding up network traffic flow and making it easier to manage.
Metro Ethernet - Ethernet Over Copper
Copper access remains the only option for most businesses. That’s why ADTRAN created a series of products to extend Ethernet using multiple copper pairs - Ethernet over Copper or EOC.
 Voice T1 Services
Voice T1 Service options:
* Long Distance Voice T1 Line: For users with primarily long distance calls. Long distance rates are often less than 2¢s: per minute.
* Local Voice T1 Service: For operations with the need for multiple local phone lines.
* Voice T1 with PRI: One channel is allocated to special purposes such as caller ID, fax, or other data.
 DS3 / T3 and OC3 to OCxxx
For even greater bandwidth reqirements consider:
- DS3: Also called T3 - 43 megabits per second - equal to 28 T1 Internet lines.
- OC3: Fiber optice or optical carrier - 155 megabits per second - equal to 84 T1 lines.
- OC12: 622 megabits per second - equal to 4 OC3 lines.
- OC48: 2.5 gigabits per seconds - equal to 4 OC12 lines.
- OC192: 9.6 gigabits per second - equal to 4 OC48 lines.

Business DSL - A Bad Trip by T. A. Johnson Sr. - Customer Relations Manager March 9, 2005
Have you ever noticed that DSL backwards is LSD? If you are using this type of connection to generate income for your Bureau Of The Census, California business, you may be in for a BAD TRIP ! As the person in our organization that is responsible for our customers satisfaction, traditional internet service certainly has been a bad trip for me. When our sales staff helps one of our customers obtain this inferior level of service, sooner or later, I get the call to fix-it. I can't blame the sales person for the trouble. The client wanted a CHEAP FIX. Ok, enough tounge in cheek, let me inject some sharper points here.
T1 Service Level Agreements ( SLAs ) are a lifeline for Bureau Of The Census businesses that depend on data and/or voice connections for income. Simply put, they are service quality guarantees. The T1 service provider guarantees, in writing, that if you lose your Bureau Of The Census, California T1 connection, they lose part of their income. They don't want to lose their income any more than you do, so they make sure you do not lose your connection. Businesses that hold Dedicated Circuit SLAs usually measure outages in minutes, as opposed to cheaper connections that average 32 to 48 HOURS - 2 DAYS! As a "best effort" service, the DSL provider isn't normally under any obligation to restore service quickly, or to renumerate you for any of your business loses - no incentive, no hurry, your loss. Even if your internet provider is offering a Service Level Agreement, those argeements are always inferior to T1 Service Level Agreements. You get what you pay for. Considering that only a relatively small percentage of homes and business are currently using these inferior services, and the number of subscribers is expected to grow exponentially, quality and up-time will probably continue to deteriorate.
Where are your customers going during these outages? Probably to a competitor that has not suffered the downtime. What is the dollar amount, long-term, of your loses? Possibly more than a T1 line would cost. Is it important and profitable for you to maintain your lifeline while your comptetitors are suffering outages? YOU BET ! You can be aquiring new customers while they are down; taking your competitions business, instead of the competition taking your business.
To appreciate the value of a T1 Service Level Agreement, look at the 2004 hurricane season in Florida. Phone and DSL connections went down in many areas for weeks. No service. No business. T1 Internet Line Service was generally restored in about 2 hours. Don't wait for a hurricane, or flood, or earthquake, or tornado, or fire, or mudslides, or the guy who digs up your telephone line, or whatever..... Take care of your business, insure your business lifeline, and protect your income with a vastly superior T1 Service Level Agreement.
